Day 1: 

• Correct and turn in Vocab Lesson 6
• pick up Vocab 5-6 review Download Vocab 5-6 review

• Pick up grammar worksheet: Semicolons and Colons Download Semicolons and Colons

• Poem choices for Poetry Out Loud Links to an external site.. ;   

 Homework:  Grammar worksheet p. 1, Vocab study, Choose your poem by Thursday.

Day 2:  

• Vocab study time
• Grammar check p. 1 and go over and do p. 2 together.  .  
• Poetry Out Loud poem choices
• Poetry:  read "The End and The Beginning Links to an external site." p. 351-352 and analyze as a class.  

Homework:  Vocab 5-6 Review, Grammar p. 2

Day 3:  

• Vocab study time
• Go over grammar p.2
• Poetry Out Loud: work on TP-CASTT

Complete grammar p. 3 in class

Homework:  Finish the TP-CASST on your own poem; due on Wed 11/2.  Vocab 7 due on Monday, 11/7.

Day 4:  

• Vocab study time
• Go over grammar p. 3/Hand it in
• Poetry Out Loud: Begin TP-CASTT

    Choose own poem and start a TP-CASST.

Homework:  Finish the TP-CASST on your own poem; due on Wed 11/2.  Vocab review due on Wednesday, 11/1.

Day 5:  

• Independent reading time
• Hand back essay grades.

Homework:  Finish the TP-CASST on your own poem: due on Wednesday November 1, Vocab review test Wednesday November 1
