7th Grade Computer Science

This class meets M-F from 2:10-3:00 and on Fridays from 1:45-2:20. For one semester.

The overall objective of the class provides students with skills that are necessary to navigate the instruction of a blended learning environment. Students will work with google documents, sites, documents, email, and calendar. We will also be exploring the world of Computer Aided Design and Drafting with the program Sketchup. Students will be working through a series of CAD projects and then will prepare a video using iMovie to show what they have learned. The class requires students to reflect daily in a journal. Grading Policy

Parents and students you may notice that a score or several scores are marked late. Please don't be alarmed as late scores are not valued/scored down. Students can make up any grade at full credit. This means that if a student scores a 7/10 on an assignment they can redo the assignment until a 10/10 is achieved.
